  An excellent overall experience with Apex Car Rentals Cairns. The booking process on line was simple and the price was the best around. After arriving at the airport a call was made to the office and the shuttle bus arrived to collect us within 10 minutes. The check in process with Chris was faultless and as well as being extremely friendly and helpful there was none of the usual hard sell to try and upgrade on insurance. We checked the car together before collection and photos were taken of any issues which were then emailed through to us. The car was in great condition (Hyundai i30) and we had no issues. On return the inspection was done in minutes and we were taken back to the airport via shuttle bus without waiting. Highly recommended!

  They offer after hour pick up which is easy for midnight flight. We are arrived around 11pm just a few mins the driver came to pick us up. Car rental location just 5mins drive from airport.
  Book and return procedure is easy and quick.
  We rented a small car which is big enough for my three and functional for everywhere is cairns. Car is new as photos. Everything is good.

  I booked a small hatch for 12 days. Apex rates were less than others as they are not based at the airport, which I admit made me think twice about using them. However, I needn't have worried. The instructions to walk to the pick-up-point were very clear and it is a very short walk. The shuttle arrived at the same time I did. The check-in process was friendly and efficient. The car was immaculate. On returning the vehicle they did a quick inspection and said everything was ok and the shuttle took me to the airport immediately. The staff are friendly and the service efficient. I would definitely use Apex again and highly recommend them.

  Apex cairns very good staff especially the lady from Liverpool first time we have ever used apex a pleasure good car clean car and no hidden costs would never use any other rental company

  As long as Apex is a car hire option, I'll always take it. Everything about this company was great. No deposit, clean vehicle as described, friendly staff who didn't try to up sell anything to me and an airport pick up and drop off bus service if you need it (in Cairns at least-not sure of others yet). I kept waiting for a suprise "extra" but there were none. So refreshing to deal with a company that delivers exactly what it says it will. Highly recommend them.
