  I won’t recommend this university to students as some of the course coordinators are arrogant not helpful and leaving a bitter relationship between a teacher and a student. I believe that’s there University culture.
  If you are thinking to pursue nursing better of going to a different University.

  I completed my bacherlor's degree with ECU back in 2007. Then I decided to undertake a higher degree .. what a mistake.
  
  I have a $20k debt with the ATO for study that I withdrew from. ECU has a terrible business model.
  
  For my masters' degree I was assigned "an individual study support officer". This is very misleading; their job was not to address any issues with the course content or the studies. They simply called in every so oftent to make sure that I remained enrolled. It's purely a business development role - it's a step away from unsolicited door-to-door sales.
  
  My last conversation with the support officer was that I wished to cease studying. Evidently, this didn't happen.
  
  My advice to anyone considering studying at ECU (aka Super-TAFE), is consider other institutions.
  
  If I could rescind my alumnus with ECU, I would.

  The best university in all of Perth. The university of Western Australia could learn a thing or two from Edith Cowan University. They truly value the students and prioritise them over anything else, unlike other universities in Perth. I am so grateful and proud to be a student of ECU.

  I thought this UNI is top rated /professional university but I was wrong. My wife applied for Nursing conversion course for FEB 2022 and we were told to apply for JULY session instead due to higher number of students and we were alright. But they haven't given any decision or offer for JULY yet as it's almost July. At least they could say yes or no but every time we call their response is just wait haven't been finalized yet, it doesn't make any sense as classes are starting in weeks time and no decision is given yet. And probably they would say we can't make this time too and have heard news that FEB session for 2023 is also already packed with applicants. My wife has gone through a lot of frustration and stress due to this behavior from ECU. We waited for a year to get an offer but still they do not prioritize or understand students feelings. Waited for an year and still want to defer for next sem? What a shame, and you call yourself professional and qualified?
