  I had a great experience with Julie from the repair desk. I had dropped my beloved Guess watch and was quiet upset about it, especially the cost to repair it. Julie was very understanding and it was her empathy and excellent customer service skills that made me feel confident that my watch was in the right hands. Previous to going to Wallace Bishops I had my watch sent for repairs at City Time. They had the watch for 9 weeks and did not contact me once I had to call them on 3 occasions to get up dates on my repairs. In the end they said it can't be fixed as they could not get the part in. This was when I decided to go to Wallace Bishop to see what they could do.
  Julie rang their repair shop and told me they could the parts to fix it and arranged a payment plan for me. She kept me updated on the status and a within a few weeks I was reunited with my lovely watch.
  The service and communication was a million times better than City Time.

  Went in for a clasp to be repaired on a chain and a watch battery. Both done but certainly not cheap. Service good.

  DO NOT TRUST REPAIR SHOP THEY HAVE INSIDE. I bring my watch to change the battery due to was low. Finally they told me to come back 15min later it will be replaced with a new one. When I back they told me that is not the battery, watch as an other issued. They suggest me to go in one more shop inside central which is they have convenience to fix the problem. FINALLY I decided to fix by myself was pretty sure the PROBLEM WAS JUST THE BATTERY!!! So i bought a NEW BATTERY online and replaced pretty easily. It works beautifully, I was sure about the problem was just battery. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY they told me that wasn’t battery and go to other shop. Anyway better I SAVE $25 new battery cost me just $4. Definitely WILL NOT BE BACK. NO TRUSTFUL AT ALL.

  My partner's much loved 20 year old Seiko Kinetic gave up the ghost some time ago so we went to Cairns Central to check out what's available to replace it. After visiting 2 other jewellers we decided to check out Wallace Bishop. Very pleased we did, Martin at WB was incredibly helpful and courteous and we had a new Seiko automatic sorted out in no time. Good price and watch band adjusted on the spot.
