  Gosh, I wrote a novel on the comments card! TINY room and miniscule balcony. Was in a hotel style room on third floor. Not great views, although might have been better on a higher floor. The tiniest TV I've ever seen (not that I was there to watch TV), it was about the size of a postage stamp. The iron was ridiculously cheap and it ruined a shirt of mine. Parking costs $10 per day - unheard of in Cairns!! - I'm a local resident.
  The shower was actually nice, but again, quite a small bathroom. I stayed in winter, and although it IS Cairns, the spa should have been heated!! Staff at reception were fine, and were happy to provide extra towels and bathrobes on request. Definitely wouldn't pay $170 per night here again!

  Wow, Nell. Where did you stay?? Can it be the same hotel? I stayed in a suite with spa, kitchen, balcony with spectacular views. Ocean liners seemed so close as they cruised past my balcony. I thought it was fantastic value.. I booked online and can't remember what I paid but parking was free for guests and I thought the whole experience was wonderful.
